Summary
To operate the preventative maintenance system in addition to assisting the Maintenance manager as required for repair or maintenance of any equipment or facilities at Nolte Precise Manufacturing.
Primary Job Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance in compliance with our AS9100 certification.
- Using a calendar to identify machinery that must be reviewed and serviced.
- Completing required forms, reports, and other documentation to support the preventative maintenance program.
- Observe, identify, and report irregularities with machinery.
- Assisting the Maintenance Manager with troubleshooting and repair of machinery, tools, or the building.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work well with others and independently if needed.
- Must be able to follow a maintenance schedule that may be interrupted at times due to business needs.
- Ability to use tools, equipment, and work aids, to assist in repairs or troubleshooting.
- Be able to take quick corrective action to maintain safe operation/service of equipment.
- Have an excellent attendance record and be able to work overtime, and all schedules as needed.
- 18 years or older.
- Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and speak English due to the safety sensitivity of this role.
- Demonstrate communication and organizational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for 10-hour work shift.
- Frequent bending, crouching, and squatting.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work with oils/coolants and power tools.
- Must be able to work in noisy environment with large temperature swings.
